This app is great for those who are color blind or for anyone trying to determine the color of something. It identifies the colors on screen. It allows the user to take a picture and discover the color name and RGB number for any pixel in the picture. The same can be done with any picture from the devices Gallery. Additionally, this app is great for people who need to identify paint colors because the Info button gives the closest standard RAL® and Pantone® color numbers. For embroidery enthusiasts you also get the closest DMC®, Anchor®, and J. P. Coats® embroidery floss numbers. And for those into other crafts, it also identifies teh Mill Hill Glass Beads and Delica, Hama, Nabbi, Artkal, and Perler Plastic Beads.

I’VE SEEN OTHER APPS THAT SERVE SIMILAR PURPOSES. WHAT MAKES YOURS THE BEST?
Many similar apps use the live view of the camera to identify the color of individual pixels. The problem with that is every pixel is different so if your hand moves even the slightest bit, the color is different and the name changes so it's very difficult to read.

Additionally, because Color Picker uses a still image, it can also give you a lot of extra information that other apps don;t offer.
